Despite the challenges of the weather, particularly in July and August, harvest is now in full swing and is promising to outperform even last year’s excellent crop. Having just completed the harvest of the red grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) as well as the Reichensteiner, we have already picked a total of 3 Tonnes of grapes, only just less than our overall total for the whole of 2022; and we still have the Chardonnay to go. This is a picture of the pinot noir grapes waiting for processing.
While we wait for the Chardonnay sugars to increase a little further we have been processing the red grapes and this is the Pinot Noir coming off the press.
